Namsan Seoul Tower is at almost 480m above sea level,
including Namsan Mountain (243m) and the tower’s
own height (236.7m), making it one of the tallest towers
in the Korea. It is comprised of Seoul Tower Plaza and
N Seoul Tower. The tower was first established as a
broadcast tower to send out TV and radio signals in 1969.
Now it has become one of the most beloved landmarks
in Seoul. The tower's main attractions include multi-colored
digital art projected onto the tower at night, a digital
observatory, a roof terrace, various restaurants, and
the Haneul (Sky) Restroom. Namsan Seoul Tower's
mountain surroundings on Namsan Mountain have
made it a popular place for locals and tourists alike.
